We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Tech & Product teams at Mrsool, to help us deliver impactful features and tech initiatives that enable us to grow the business.

You will use your technical and program management skills, to work with engineering and product leaders, to help ship programs and products that have business impact across millions of customers in Saudi and Egypt. With this, you'll play a crucial role in partnering with key stakeholders to deliver high social and business impact.

The role is based in our Riyadh headquarters and offers visa sponsorship.

Your mission:

  • Manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives. Interface with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage people/resource allocation.
  • Support the VPs and Heads of Engineering and Product in delivering the top strategic projects.
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders. Engage and energize the project teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively.
  • Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and guide teams to clarify priorities, efforts and solutions. Ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be highly effective. Develop broad domain and technical knowledge.
  • Help translate cross-functional strategic goals into detailed program/project plans (including roadmaps, resource planning etc.).
  • Work across the engineering, product, and design organizations to help them discover, develop and deliver new tech solutions, as well as improvements to existing solutions and services.
  • Ensure great stakeholder management for both external and internal teams, ensure they are working towards the same goal and manage official communications and alignments. You'll need to advocate for all stakeholders throughout the program to ensure they have the support needed to succeed.
  • Be a champion of efficiency and transparency, work with our teams to define and maintain simple and effective best practices, process frameworks, tools and guidelines across the board. Improve product development and delivery. Mentor project management skills within our engineering leadership team.

Your heroic skills:

  • You have 3+ years of program/project management experience with a track record of delivering medium to high-complexity programs and projects. You draw upon your past immersion of working in an agile and iterative environment and focus on delivering projects effectively and efficiently and know how to boost cross-functional teams and projects. You apply high quality project management standards and make them evolve
  • Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks. Engineers enjoy working closely with you.
  • Previous experience in delivering technical products and/or services, used by other technical teams. Bonus is you have experience working with mobile development teams.
  • Experience defining and implementing strategies and processes from scratch.
  • Excellent executive presence as well as good presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required - specifically, an ability to tailor communications and collaborate at different levels of the business and with customers - from engineering to VP-level.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with the team, key stakeholders, partners and executive management.
  • Ability to understand business metrics, analytical thinking, calculate project costs and ROI, experience with CAPEX process is a plus.
