Job Purpose

  • The Loyalty Program Associate Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the destination brands loyalty program.
  • This will likely not be a points program but rather the ability to recognize and reward our best guests. It will likely combine both an internal recognition program with assessment of partner programs like Saudi rewards.
  • This position requires expertise in customer relationship management, data analytics, and program design to create a compelling and effective loyalty initiative that drives repeat visitation, increased share of wallet, and brand advocacy among the target customers.
  • The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the loyalty program is fully integrated into the overall marketing and customer experience strategies

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Contribution

  • Develop and execute the long-term vision and roadmap for the company's loyalty program, in alignment with the broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with travel, hospitality, and retail brands to enhance the loyalty program's value proposition and expand reward options.

Leadership

  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals, while ensuring succession planning is managed.
  • Serve as a role model to ensure employees' awareness and commitment to the overall vision, mission, values, fundamentals and strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated human resources, and continuously improve performance.

Budget

  • Lead the preparation of the loyalty program development and implementation budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

Loyalty Program

  • Design the loyalty program strategy, structure, including membership tiers, reward types and approach, to maximize customer engagement and retention.
  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the loyalty program technology platform (working with the Connected Visitor Team), including the customer-facing mobile app or website.
  • Analyze program performance data, including member enrollment, engagement, and lifetime value, to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, and customer service teams to integrate the loyalty program into broader customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns and personalized communications to drive loyalty program enrollment, usage, and advocacy.
  • Design and build a team of loyalty program professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management consistent with the strategy and approach that is developed and approved first.

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department's systems, processes and practices considering 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Job Requirements:

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Master's or MBA (Preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in Loyalty Programs management
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful loyalty programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of Loyalty and Recognition programs, particularly in the luxury space. (luxury retail, credit cards, airlines, private jets)
  • Experience with luxury concierge service management preferred.
  • Expertise in customer data analysis (including lifetime value), segmentation, and personalization to deliver tailored loyalty experiences.
  • Strong strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in loyalty program technology platforms, customer data management, and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of the destination tourism industry and its unique customer behaviors and preferences.

Job Context

  • Associate Loyalty Program Director will primarily be based in RSG HQ and may need to travel as needed
