Petroleum Economist

We are hiring candidates with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in "Oracle PLSQL" for the role of "Oracle PL/SQL Developer" for one of our top MNC client organisations. Please find below the JD.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain database applications using Oracle PL/SQL
  
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to ensure the success of the project
  
• Perform web server maintenance and ensure that deployments are completed successfully
  
• Identify areas of improvement in database systems and provide suggestions for process improvement
  
• Document database designs, architecture, and development processes
  

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming
  
• Strong knowledge of procedures and functions in Oracle PL/SQL
  
• Experience in live deployments and web server maintenance
  
• Basic knowledge of Finnone and familiarity with networking/infrastructure/servers is a plus
  
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  
• Experience with software development life cycle methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus
