Position Overview: As a Sourcing / Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our operations by sourcing trucks from vendors and the market, and ensuring timely fulfillment of transportation requests. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with truck owners and vendors, optimizing truck utilization, and ensuring seamless coordination to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Source trucks from vendors and the market to fulfill transportation requests promptly, meeting customer delivery deadlines.
  2. Identify and contact single truck owners and negotiate terms and rates for truck deployment, ensuring competitive pricing and service quality.
  3. Maintain a database of available trucks, including specifications, availability, and pricing, to facilitate efficient sourcing and allocation.
  4. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to truck sourcing, including permits, licenses, and insurance coverage.
  5. Resolve any issues or disputes with truck owners or vendors promptly and professionally, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  6. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to truck sourcing and fulfillment, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  7. Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities related to truck sourcing and transportation services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. 2 years of experience in sourcing, fulfillment, or logistics operations, preferably in the transportation industry(road freight).
  3. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with truck owners and vendors.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Knowledge of transportation regulations, permit requirements, and industry best practices.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
