Job Description

Your Impact:

Having quick turnaround and increased test coverage is the need of the hour; hence the increased emphasis on automation testing across projects. Publicis Sapient is looking for automation experts who in addition to the expertise in the tools and techniques also have the knack to understand the business needs, ROI and accordingly create the automation strategy. Assures consistent quality of Software Applications production by developing and enforcing robust Automated Software QE strategy, practices, and processes, providing documentation and managing people. They collaborate the with the project, business and (QE) teams, to develop detailed automated scripts, test frameworks to make the overall system more effective and efficient for our clients. Responsible for the overall quality of the project through effective QE leadership and management to ensure that all deliverables in terms of time, price and quality are met. This individual must have a proven track record of success building, leading, and managing a functional and technical QE team with a strong sense of quality ownership. This is a hands-on job that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of the team's manual and automation efforts in an agile working environment

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 10-14 years of overall testing experience and atleast 8+ years of in-depth experience in establishing test automation frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing continuous testing strategy
  • Experience with QE for distributed highly scalable systems.
  • Hands-on framework development for a Green Field Project
  • Strong exposure on API automation tools like Rest-Assured/Karate/SOAP UI, hands on
  • Exposure on Mobile automation using Appium or Espresso and XCUIT is an add-on.
  • Able to enhance test and automation coverage to the maximum.
  • Able to maintain defect leakage and robust test automation which allows max test coverage.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab(preferable) / Jenkins
  • Experience in Cloud tech like AWS, GCP
  • Should have basic knowledge of JMeter, Load Runner or any other equivalent Performancetesting tool.
  • Should have basic knowledge of JAWS or PA11Y, Axe, WAT, WAVE, HTML validator or any other equivalent Accessibility testing tool.
  • Should have basic knowledge of any open source Burpsuite, Zaproxy or Commercial IBM Appscan etc. or any other equivalent Security testing tool.
  • Sound Knowledge of methodologies and approaches such as Agile, BDD, DevOps etc.

Test Management

  • Be an expert in client consultation and educate in the decision of quality engineering.
  • Exhibit thought leadership in defining strategies for different engagements.
  • Well versed with Industry trends, latest technologies & approaches in QE.
  • Can mentor team of 6-9+ team members on technical as well as team management for theirgrowth and skills improvement.
  • Planning and estimation of the test automation and test delivery
  • Advocate for the need of test automation as well as be responsible for enhancing the team's technical skills.
  • Oversee technological delivery of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams.
  • Able to define ways of working in quality engineering space.
  • Lead design and architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams.
  • Status reporting: Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status etc.
  • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach across project teams.
