Painter & Blaster

Your mainly activities will be:
Control & ON/OFF valves Painting as per customer orders from Valmet Sales offices according to the production plan.

• Comply Valmet safety standards & ensure the safety of the team working around.
• Blasting & Painting of valve bodies, actuators, and any other components as per the planned schedule.
• Participate in the new paint system developments and the project needs.
• Capable of assisting other painters and contractors involved in masking and blasting.
• Capable to understand the MSDS & take the proper precautions.
• Fill, note, or record any required reports and or documentation.
• When customer inspection takes place, assist the customer in carrying out final acceptance test upon requirement.
• Painting to be performed as per instruction manuals, procedures & drawings.
• Work with Assembly team to ensure the paint touchup activities in timely manner.
• Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.
• Responsible for maintenance of paint tools and equipment.
• Update painting related issues on daily toolbox talk.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in the role:
You can be either an experienced professional or a newly graduated - the key point is your attitude and willingness to learn

To be successful in this role, you will need in addition:

• Relevant educational background such as diploma in chemical/mechanical engineering.
• Experience in Control & ON/OFF Valves industry world is a plus. You do not need to have experience in Valmet portfolio, but experience in similar products is a plus.
• Experience in Aramco Painting Systems & RAL codes is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in different operations situations and in different cultural environments.
• Passion for delivering best results and for collaborating with your colleagues.
• Fluent in English. Other languages are plus.
