Job Title:
Planning Manager, PDS

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Planning Manager to join our P&DS team in Riyadh.

The Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the planning tasks on various projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

This role requires extensive knowledge of design, construction, local authorities processes, and the ability to estimate timeframes with mínimal input from the Senior Project Manager (SPM).

Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with clients are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and maintain baseline programs for projects, ensuring mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and main contractors to align project planning tasks.
Review overall project status with the Project Manager and recommend corrective action where necessary.
Utilize a clear, systematic approach to solve complex issues and effectively communicate solutions in a high-level manner.
Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to build strong relationships.
Establish project planning processes and procedures to be included within the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Ensure integration of sub-schedules from all parties involved in the projects.

Track and report progress against the baseline schedule, continuously monitor risks and opportunities, and develop proactive mitigation or backup plans as required.

Generate reports on program progress, including contractual spend, utilizing reporting metrics such as EV (Earned Value) and PV (Planned Value) deviations.

Lead meetings related to the schedule and associated processes and procedures.

Effectively communicate to all project team members their duties and responsibilities in executing the schedule, with support from the Project Team.


Requirements:

Utilize Project Management software, specifically P6, to effectively manage project planning requirements.
Possess a degree qualification (preferred) related to the field.
Demonstrate extensive experience as a Planning Manager in the construction industry, specifically with mixed-use projects.
Show a track record of major international project experience.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
