Due to continued market growth, our client a globally International Project Management Consultancy seeks to appoint a Project Director - PMC to lead the project management and construction management of multiple building projects based in Saudi Arabia.

The focus of this role is the delivery of world standard PM/CM services with a focus on oversight on both PM and CM aspects of the business.

**Reporting to the Executive Director

  • PMCM Services, managing 10 direct reports and 200 indirect reports across multiple projects with the unit rapidly growing.
This role is the 2IC role in Saudi Arabia and is responsible for the following**:

  • Lead the business development and project delivery of Saudi projects including oversight of PM and CM/CS projects, client management and business development.
  • Oversight of the development of program management policies and procedures to world standard capacity.
  • Development of capability to deliver PM and CM/CS projects including resource management.
  • Lead the development of programs and project plans including master programs, method statements,
- procurement plans, submission schedules, reporting and project interface management.

  • Ensure the provision of expert advice and training to PMC staff and ensure the provision of contractual counsel to Senior Project Management staff on projects, in coordination with the Contracts Department.
  • Monitor progress of all ongoing projects and ensure the implementation of risk management policies and procedures, including risk identification and mitigation.
  • Prepare proposal methodology including client liaison, production and delivery of presentations and project trouble shooting.
  • Ensure consistency and high performance of all stakeholder resources.
  • Lead and manage Project teams to achieve project plan targets.
  • Develop detailed project budgets for large projects of high complexity.
  • Management of project budgets ensuring adherence to allocated budgets. Monitor the adherence of projects compared to budgets
  • Ensuring terms of the contract are followed with management of scope changes by effectively delivering project objectives.
  • Lead overall work progress and technical performance for the project.
  • Ensure robust project plans and forecasts are produced and regularly updated.

The attributes we seek include:

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent is required with a membership of a
  • Professional Institution and/or Certified Project Management Professional status being highly regarded.
  • 15+ years' executive experience in the project delivery of complex, large scale Project Management and
  • Construction Management programs across a range of Client types and multidisciplinary teams for building projects.
