We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian cuisine to high standards, ensuring that dishes are both delicious and visually appealing.

You will be expected to showcase your expertise in Indian culinary techniques, flavors, and ingredients to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our patrons.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a diverse range of Indian dishes, including appetizers, mains, desserts, and accompaniments.
  • Ensure that all food preparation meets the highest quality and hygiene standards, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
  • Create and update menus based on seasonal availability, customer preferences, and culinary trends.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques, ensuring consistency and excellence in all dishes prepared.
  • Manage inventory and food costing to maintain profitability while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional strategies and special menus to attract customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging Indian food trends, techniques, and ingredients, incorporating them into menu offerings as appropriate.
  • Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests with food allergies or restrictions.
  • Uphold professionalism and teamwork in the kitchen, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as an Indian Chef, preferably in a highvolume restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Indepth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Proficiency in preparing a wide range of Indian dishes, from traditional classics to contemporary interpretations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities, capable of working efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus.
