Objectives of this Role

  • Source specialized senior-level candidates for top global companies, focusing on the South African and International markets
  • Interview and assess candidates to present top-quality options to clients
  • Collaborate with clients to design customized hiring strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends for accurate candidate assessment
  • Expand and manage client relationships for recurring business
  • Generate leads and build a client base through networking
  • Promote our employer brand by networking with potential candidates online and offline

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Discuss role requirements with clients to identify ideal candidates
  • Craft and post job descriptions on specialized platforms including job boards and social media
  • Identify and screen qualified candidates for various technical positions
  • Conduct interviews using different methods such as structured interviews and technical assessments
  • Manage a candidate CRM system to maintain a pool of qualified candidates
  • Attend tech events to connect with IT professionals
  • Stay current on tech trends to engage in strategic discussions with clients regarding future hiring needs

Requirements

Skills

  • Demonstrated recruitment experience, ideally in Financial and Technical roles
  • Proficient in various interview formats like Teams and Zoom
  • Technical expertise to comprehend and explain requirements for Financial and IT positions
  • Utilize different platforms to find high-quality candidates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build a strong network with determination

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant or Recruitment Specialist
  • Having an established client base is beneficial
  • Preferably holds a BSc degree or diploma in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, or a relevant field
  • Over 5 years of Finance and IT recruitment experience in a full-service agency setting
  • Significant background in sales, business development, or client relations
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Practical experience in candidate sourcing and evaluation
  • Knowledge of job boards, resume databases, and ATS
  • Experience conducting candidate interviews and organizing skills assessments
  • Basic understanding of labor laws
  • Proficiency in professional social networking
  • Strong organizational abilities
