Purpose of the Job

The SAP TMS analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical and technical leadership for management information reporting and business intelligence analysis at the LCC Logistics Command Centre for the Base Chemicals Division.

As a Logistics Analyst, your main task is to optimize every aspect of the supply chain to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

You will be supporting the LCC Manager by offering valuable insights into Logistics activities throughout the value chain.

The candidate will be accountable for generating reports on business performance.

Recruitment Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards and reports that highlight trends and key indicators to aid in decision-making.
  • Provide operational, tactical, and dashboard reports for all Product Lines.
  • Understand requirements and deliver reports promptly, incorporating graphics and relevant commentary.
  • Create, assess, and update logistics policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Conduct research on Logistics and value Chain issues to proactively identify and resolve potential challenges.
  • Stay informed about the latest logistics trends and competitor strategies.
  • Handle both routine and unexpected disruptions in the value chain to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Compile detailed daily/weekly/quarterly, and annual logistics cost analysis and management reports (OTIFWAC).
  • Proactively develop detailed daily/weekly/quarterly, and annual logistics cost analysis and management reports.
  • Act as the Super User for the end-to-end SAP TMS solution within the LCC.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis for route assessments, settlement conflicts, profitability analysis of product streams, and SKU profitability analysis.

Formal Education

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from a recognized university.
  • Certifications: SAP ERP, SAP TMS preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
