The South African College of Applied Psychology SACAP is the leading independent provider of education in psychology, counselling and coaching, offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.
SACAP is looking for a psychologist who is responsible for providing mental health services and support to students at SACAP.
The psychologist will provide a full range of counselling and support and development services to promote student wellbeing and strengthen student success.
The role reports directly to the Student Wellness Manager and Center.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least three years' experience in Higher Education
- Master's degree in counselling/ clinical psychology
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Counselling Psychologist /Clinical Psychologist

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literate
- Time management
- Organised/ Structured
- Methodical
- Highly developed relationship building skills
- Sound understanding of professional and ethical principles and relevant legislation
