Job Summary:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Principal Specialist Accountant to become a part of our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the precision and compliance of our financial operations, especially concentrating on intercompany transactions and regulatory conformity. The chosen candidate will oversee the review and validation of all intercompany transactions to ensure alignment with company policies and local regulations, including requirements for E-invoicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Review intercompany transactions and confirm consistency of all supporting documentation with company policy and local regulations, including E-invoicing.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail to verify the accuracy and proper documentation of financial transactions as per internal policies and in compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
  • Analyze historical transaction data and cooperate with the Corporate Accounting team to promptly resolve intercompany transactions.
  • Create and present summaries of SAP system accounting data for VAT / withholding tax records, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Execute various tasks linked to month-end closure - settlement of intercompany accounts, reconciliations, reporting, and validations.
  • Maintain solid adherence to internal controls and procedures and provide training on these processes to the wider RTNSA community as necessary.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancement within the department, focusing on intercompany compliance.
  • Collaborate with our E-invoicing service provider to ensure adherence to KSA Regulations concerning outgoing invoices.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is preferred.
  • Valid SOCPA Membership required.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Qualifications We Value:

  • Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Proficiency in IFRS & USGAAP standards.
  • MBA, CMA, a plus though not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Proven ability to work with team members having various work styles and conflict resolution approaches.
