Job Purpose

  • Responsible for providing an efficient and effective registry service.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Supervises and participates in the correct maintenance of the archives.
  • Monitors and reviews performance within the section.
  • Ensures that customer enquiries are handled timeously.
  • Supervises the accurate recording and movement of files.
  • Controls all internal and external mail received.
  • Investigates enquiries received from internal and external customers.
  • Ensures that all internal communications such as circulars, notices and advertisements are copied and distributed timeously to Clusters, Units or Departments.
  • Orders and retains sufficient stock of stationery.
  • Relieves the staff of the Registry section, during their absence.
  • Supervises and participates in the routine maintenance of the Registry Department.

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
  • 2 Years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • Grade 12 NQF Level 4 and an Administrative Certificate.
  • 3 years relevant experience
