The project:

Mace is providing project management consultancy services on a large luxury mixed-use development in the Umluj area of Saudi Arabia.

Client focus – Deliver on our promise:

You will lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

You will direct preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.

You will proactively identify costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges, and present these to clients.

You will lead Cost Consultants to identify and execute opportunities that improve cost management procedures, templates and products to enhance services provided to stakeholders.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing cost management services to achieve completion of projects.
Responsible for managing a large team to deliver key outcomes contributing to strategic development.
Provides leadership & direction to team members.

You'll be responsible for:

Directing and supervising the cost management team providing support across the project. Contributing to the implementation of the programme strategy and the development of the specific projects action plan. Managing the client relationship and all of the reporting responsibility. Reviewing contracts and making recommendations on commerciality. Resolving issues with contracts and commercial operations. Acting as a subject matter expert for cost and commercial on the project. Ensuring that all stakeholders such as administration, operations and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations reflecting them accurately. Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management. Supervising and motivating a multi-cultural team and ensure all commercial objectives are delivered.

You'll need to have:

Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.Comprehensive understanding of present-day issues such as Sustainability, Social Value and Carbon Reduction.
Expert knowledge of industry best practice.
