Brief Description

• SBS invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer Requirements for Senior Lecturer level:
• A PhD in Information Systems
• Candidates with a bachelor's degree with a major in Information Systems will be preferred
• Demonstrable experience in a research leadership role, including a track record of accredited publications
• Demonstrable experience in curriculum development, course administration, and substantial teaching experience at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
• Additional requirements for ALL levels:
• The IS Division seeks to recruit individuals for key Information Systems roles, specifically in system analysis and design, database design and management, and systems/software development and implementation coding/programming.
• Candidates with extensive expertise and demonstrated experience in database design/management or proficiency in at least two of the other specified areas will be given preference. Having a demonstrated work history in a technology-related position will also be beneficial.Expectations of successful applicant:
• Actively participate in research and supervision of postgraduate students
• Design, teach and administer undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Engaged participation in the running of the Division through academic citizenship and administrative activities.
