Your main responsibilities:

  • Managing department/area budgets.
  • Developing talent within the area.
  • Coaching managers and specialists.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Risk and compliance management for projects.
  • Creating departmental plans and quarterly targets.
  • Handling delivery relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards and internal audits.
  • Governing assurance within the EPMO.
  • Terms of engagement with Portfolio management.
  • Alignment of deliverables and implementation.
  • Strategic planning and feedback implementation.
  • Development of processes, procedures, and reporting.
  • Guidance on methodology and work methods.
  • Resolving escalated issues and driving actions.
  • Allocating resources across projects.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and communications.
  • Handling dependencies and interfaces between projects.
  • Managing risks for successful outcomes.
  • Providing input into Change Navigation and Benefits Management.
  • Reporting progress of projects regularly.
  • Anticipating and managing issues.
  • Influencing the team and leveraging lessons learnt.
  • Overseeing projects/programmes as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor degree or Post Graduate Degree preferred
  • PfMP certification preferable
  • PMP certification
  • Computer skills in MS Office suite and Programme Management Applications

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years' Project Management experience
  • Payments and Banking industry experience advantageous
  • Budget management experience
  • Facilitating meetings with stakeholders
