Position Objectives:

  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of the fiber business. This role involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), creating performance reports, and ensuring the financial health of the business.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor the performance of the fiber business.
  • Create fiber business performance reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop long-term (3-5 years) investment plans, considering end-of-life and long-term demand.
  • Coordinate with the Fiber Demand Management team to ensure consistency between annual budget/investment plans and long-term plans.
  • Manage strategy for build vs. lease decisions based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Monitor infrastructure utilization and raise flags for underutilization and overutilization.
  • Monitor infrastructure characteristics and raise flags for infrastructure reaching end-of-life, end-of-support, or is outdated.
  • Manage and modify long-term strategy according to market and business evolution.
  • Maintain and adjust infrastructure Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to provide visibility for running the fiber business.
  • Define and maintain financial KPIs and metrics required for the fiber business.
  • Define yearly Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) budget requirements and targets.
  • Reforecast targets based on actuals and communicate to the Fiber Demand Management team.
  • Infrastructure Utilization Rate: Measures the percentage of fiber infrastructure that is actively being used, helping to identify underutilization or overutilization.
  • Revenue Growth: Tracks the increase in revenue generated by the fiber business over time, indicating the business's financial health and success.
  • Profit Margin: Calculates the percentage of revenue that exceeds the costs of running the fiber business, providing insight into profitability.
  • Project Completion Rate: Monitors the percentage of projects completed on time and within budget, ensuring efficient project management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 12+ years' experience, and proven experience in performance management and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English, and Arabic would be beneficial.
