IT Lead

We are on the hunt for a driven IT Lead to become part of our innovative prop tech start-up based in Saudi Arabia. Our mission is to revolutionize rental solutions for landlords and tenants seeking options for short, medium, or long-term stays In this role, you will steer both our in-house and outsourced teams to create exceptional products that cater to our customers' needs.

Main Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of software engineers and developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define technical requirements, priorities, and project roadmaps.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices, including software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Mentor and coach team members to help them develop their technical skills and career growth.
• Coordinate with other teams, such as quality assurance, to ensure smooth integration and deployment of software.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, including evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure efficient and timely delivery of software projects.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team is quipped with the latest tools and methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
• Assess and manage technical risks associated with projects, such as technical debt, scalability, and security vulnerabilities
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within your team. This involves encouraging knowledge sharing, providing opportunities for growth, and staying informed about the latest advancements in engineering practices and technologies

Requirements

• Proficiency with WordPress, Flutter, and the PHP Laravel framework.
• Background in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Located in KSA and open to relocating to Riyadh.
