The Job Description
- Cultivate a DevOps environment rooted in industry best practices.
- Collaborate to establish a DevOps Center of Excellence, fostering a skilled and responsive team.
- Partner with development and product teams to refine best practices and develop automated, self-service solutions addressing identified needs.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate to promote adoption and build knowledge across all organizational levels.
- Design, implement, and manage DevOps solutions to support both hybrid on-premises and cloud deployments.
- Supervise technical operations and provide guidance to the development team.
- Evaluate current standards to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance process maturity.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation to support DevOps operations.
- Assist with related projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Chef, Puppet, Gitlab, Github, and Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Packer.
- Hypervisors: Familiarity with VMware, Nutanix, KVM, and Hyper-V.
- Cloud Architecture: Skilled in on-premises and public cloud infrastructures, including GCP, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Software-defined Networking: Knowledge of VPCs and VMware NSX.
- Automation and Middleware: Experience with service provisioning and middleware configuration.
- Minimum of 4 years implementing and configuring DevOps tools.
- Strong background in process workflows and usage models.
