The Research and Development Packaging Lead who can perform several important roles within our organization.

Will be responsible to design, develop and implement optimal packaging solutions, conduct testing and analysis to assess packaging performance, including functionality, safety, appeal, and environmental impact. Also ensuring that the products are safe during storage, transportation and usage.

  • Lead key projects within R&D function to support business goals.
  • Design and develop new packaging for new products and upgrade of existing packaging formats.
  • Monitor and conduct packaging benchmark analysis of Americana core products versus competition internally and in collaboration with packaging suppliers.
  • Identify and implement packaging cost reduction initiatives to reduce cost of goods sold.
  • Improve skills & efficiency by attending courses, fairs, visiting other sites of Americana and suppliers.
  • Create packaging and finish good specifications for new product developments and existing products.

Education: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 5 years' hands-on experience in Packaging Development.

Location: Jeddah Industrial City - Phase 4.
