The Airworthiness Project Specialist is responsible for the initial Airworthiness compliance requirements (Entry into Service) as per GACA Regulations for all new aircraft arriving at THC and for assisting in the renewal of aircraft C of A's, and export C of A's. This position is also the daily main point of contact for all Airworthiness projects and the coordinating administrative function of all projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Focal point for new aircraft Entry into Service projects and ensuring the Continued Airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Project lead for all department allocated Airworthiness projects.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc reviews of the aircraft data in the ERP system.
  • Liaising with the ERP system point of contact for THC.
  • Assist with any internal and external audits.
  • Assist Fleet Managers with any requested AOG support.
  • Project lead for all export C of As.
  • Assist with aircraft initial and recurrent C of As and GACA required data.
  • Other duties, as directed by the Airworthiness Project Supervisor.

Experience & Skills:

  • 4 years previous experience in maintenance planning and technical records keeping in the Aviation industry.
  • Experience in assisting with Aircraft import & export C of A's.
  • Previous experience with using an Aviation Maintenance Tracking Software System.
  • Experience in project management within current role.
  • Highly organized, excellent communication skills, and pays attention to details.
  • Possess good work habits, strong work ethics, and able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard of business etiquette.
  • English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Experience and understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Project Management Qualification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GACA rules and regulations is advantageous.
  • Holding GACA (FAA/EASA) certification is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
