Job Description
Kafou Energy is looking for an experienced BMS ProjectTesting & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team and play akey role in delivering high-quality Building Management System (BMS) projects.
The role involves execute testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting BMS systems, including field devices, controllers, networks, and system integrations. Conduct functional performance testing, ensure compliance with project specifications, coordinate with project teams and clients, and prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation while supporting system optimization and issue resolution.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in BMS testing and commissioning. Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, BMS platforms, communication protocols, troubleshooting, and technical drawings, with good teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Execute testing, commissioning,and troubleshooting of BMS systems.
- Verify field devices, controllers, networks, and system integrations.
- Conduct functional performance testing and ensure compliance with projectspecifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients duringcommissioning activities.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test documentation, and handover packages.
- Support site activities, system optimization, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree inElectrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related Engineeringdiscipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BMS testing andcommissioning projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, BMS architecture,and field instrumentation.
- Experiencewith leading BMS platforms such as , Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens,Johnson Controls, or similar systems.
- Goodunderstanding of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, andLonWorks.
- Ability to read and interpret control drawings,sequences of operation, and technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites asrequired.
- Good Knowledge of MS office (Project, Word &PPT, Excel) is required.
- Good English writing & communicationskills.
