The Receptionist is responsible for presenting high-quality service to the guests/clients at the Yacht Club. The role involves managing the Yacht Club's front desk main entrance by welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing and escalating customer complaints, and providing information about facilities, programs, and other relevant services. This role requires an excellent communicator with social intelligence who can remain positive in difficult situations, and has the ability to be reliable and customer-oriented to ensure that clients are satisfied with the service and enjoy their stay at the Yacht Club.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Welcoming members and guests in a presentable way.
  2. Reviewing arrival lists and records.
  3. Receiving and taking care of all members and guests.
  4. Answering inquiries of members in a timely manner.
  5. Assisting other staff members in preparing welcome folders for the members.
  6. Providing required information about different areas of the Yacht Club to all members.
  7. Promoting the services provided by the Yacht Club.
  8. Foreseeing the needs of all members and ensuring they are satisfied with our service.
  9. Building long-term associations with the members.
  10. Helping members with various tasks like arranging meeting room reservations and restaurant bookings.
  11. Addressing grievances and informing the Guest Relations Manager as needed.
  12. Recording all necessary data and information in the designated registers daily.
  13. Complying with health and safety standards (OSHS).
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a relevant field.
  2. 2+ years of work experience as a Guest Relations Officer, Hotel Manager, or a similar role.
  3. Professional certification in Hotel Management is preferred.
