The Safety Controller ensures the health and safety of passengers, employees, and operations at the Hajj Terminal. The role includes 24/7 monitoring of safety systems, coordinating emergency responses, and enforcing health and safety regulations in collaboration with airport stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring fire detection, alarm systems, and access control.
  • Participating in daily operational briefings and implementing health and safety recommendations.
  • Responding effectively to emergency incidents such as fires, power outages, or medical emergencies.
  • Supervising evacuation procedures and assisting vulnerable individuals during crises.
  • Preparing daily logbooks and reports with full accuracy.
  • Ensuring emergency routes and equipment are in proper condition.
  • Coordinating actions across operational units.
  • Applying and observing national and international health and safety regulations.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with fire safety equipment, public address systems, CCTV, and control panels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in Arabic and English is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in aviation or terminal operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
