This is a contract role, initially for 8 months (potentially extendable for a longer term), working with a leading global consulting / SAP implementation partner, for one of the biggest SAP implementation projects in the public sector in the KSA. The SAP implementation project and the public sector client is based in Riyadh, KSA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall lead of the SAP S / 4HANA Finance, Controlling, Funds Management stream of the project, including management of the project work-stream activities and deliverables in all phases of the SAP S / 4HANA implementation project - from the project initiation / explore phase to go-live and completion of the hyper-care phase after the project go-live;
  • Leading solution design, build, testing phases, cut-over / deployment activities and hyper-care support activities in the SAP S / 4HANA Finance, Controlling and Funds Management stream of the project;
  • Active involvement in change management activities, for a client to adopt maximum of SAP standard, best practice processes, and minimization of custom developments;
  • Planning and management the team of consultants involved in the SAP S / 4HANA Finance, Controlling and Funds Management project work-stream;
  • Ensure the best-fit-for-purpose integration of SAP FICO, Funds Management with other SAP S / 4HANA modules and processes, and 3rd-party systems in accordance with the project scope;
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on implementation experience in all key areas of SAP Finance, Controlling, Funds Management, Treasury-related, Banks and Payments, and Taxes;
  • Hands-on experience in development of Functional and Technical Specification Documentation for custom developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or a higher-level education diploma / degree;
  • Minimum 10 years of SAP implementation experience (not SAP support, SAP product management or other SAP-related experience);
  • Minimum 4 or more successfully completed and full-cycle SAP implementation projects (from a project initiation / explore phases to go-live and successful completion of hyper-care support after go-live);
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Activate implementation methodology;
  • Expert knowledge in SAP S / 4HANA Finance (including General Ledger Accounting / Multiple General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Banks and Payments, Taxes), Public Sector Funds Management;
  • SAP Controlling, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Project Management solutions for CAPEX and other projects;
  • Previous experience of SAP implementation in public sector entities is an additional advantage;
  • Team Lead skills and experience;
  • Change Management experience;
  • Excellent communication experience.
