Job Title: LEAD OPERATING SYSTEM ANALYST

Position Description:

Experienced Exchange Server Administrator responsible for managing and maintaining large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Exchange Server infrastructure, including mailbox servers, client access servers and edge transport servers. Ensure the architecture meets scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Exchange Server and related components. Implement and maintain recipient policies, address lists, and public folders. Configure mail routing, connectors, and transport rules.
  • Manage user mailboxes, configure permissions, mailbox quotas, and retention policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-related issues promptly.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting skills for automation of Exchange infrastructure.
  • Monitor Exchange Server performance, resource utilization, and service availability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and other system-related problems. Implement measures to optimize server performance and improve response times.
  • Plan and execute Exchange Server software upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network administrators, system administrators, and cybersecurity admins. Provide technical support and guidance.

Selection Criteria:

  • Extensive experience (above 5 years) as an Exchange Server Administrator, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting tasks.

Comments:

Additional preferred criteria of the candidate:

  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Understanding of troubleshooting Windows performance issues.
  • Knowledge of End Point Email Protection Solutions.
  • Knowledge of Internet Email Gateways and DLP appliances.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
