What You'll Lead and Deliver- Monitor and manage the health of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards and security protocols.
- Handle deployment, installation, and configuration of data center equipment.
- Ensure optimal performance and uptime of critical systems and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues.
- Collaborate with vendors for warranty repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
- Monitor resource usage and assist in capacity planning to ensure the data center meets future growth needs.
- Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance schedules.
- Implement and maintain physical and cybersecurity measures to safeguard data center assets.
- Respond to security incidents and alarms in a timely manner.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with data center hardware, networking equipment, and virtualization technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) & Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).
- Knowledge of data center cooling, power systems, and structured cabling.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
