Overview

As a Product Owner at Ekar, you will play a key role in shaping our car sharing platform's future. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the user experience, driving innovation, and achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Product Vision and Strategy:
    1. Define and communicate the product vision, objectives, and strategy to the development team and stakeholders.
    2. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the car sharing industry.
  2. Requirement Gathering and Prioritization:
    1. Elicit, analyze, and document detailed product requirements, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs.
    2. Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and market demand.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    1. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful implementation of features.
    2. Communicate product updates, milestones, and priorities to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  4. User Experience and Design:
    1. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
    2. Advocate for user-centered design principles and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
  5. Analytics and Data-Driven Decisions:
    1. Utilize analytics tools to gather insights on user behavior, product usage, and customer satisfaction.
    2. Analyze data to make informed decisions, optimize features, and enhance the overall user experience.
  6. Project Management:
    1. Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
    2. Work with development and operations teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime during releases.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment, preferably in the transportation or sharing economy sector.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with project management tools and product management software.
  • Passion for innovative technologies and sustainable transportation solutions.
