Supervisor, Procurement Planning & Performance Management

Arabian Machinery & Heavy Equipment Company (AMHEC) is working in the field of Crane Rental, Heavy Lifting, Transportation, and Heavy Equipment Rental Services since 2008. An impressive beginning in the field of facility management has also started since 2017 in major rig sites in Kingdom in Saudi Arabia for well-known ARAMCO contractors. We have a fleet of more than 200 medium and large sized Heavy Duty Hydraulic Cranes with capacity ranging from 50 tons to 500 tons.

Description

The main purpose of the Supervisor, Procurement Planning & Performance Management job is to process planning and performance management activities to ensure proper material availability and to guide department team towards achieving the targeted KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Revise and update the procurement plan as per the set budget.
  • Plan AMHEC's inventory levels and execute all forecasting and planning programs to reach the best required stock.
  • Prepare / measure AMHEC's inventory current versus budgeted expenditure.
  • Lead supplier performance evaluation and update approved vendor list.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and continually improve an effective procurement planning system.
  • Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
  • Oversee stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
  • Provide procurement and inventory reports to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; advise purchasing team accordingly.
  • Collaborate with departments managers to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory department.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
  • Drive visible performance management, use KPI's to track progress, monitoring actual performance versus plan.
  • Have working knowledge of online systems such as Power BI or Excel Scorecards preparing.
  • Review and assess weekly transactions to assure the usage efficiency and process optimization.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the Procurement & Inventory team to ensure that the objectives are reached.
  • Be responsible for the development, performance appraisal and succession planning of all direct and indirect reports.
  • Promote a highly effective management and leadership style in line with AMHEC's values and that supports the achievement of its strategy and objectives.
  • Identify potential successors for his/her position; oversee and implement developmental plans for identified successors.
  • Identify and monitor key Procurement & Inventory functional KPIs, and devise plans and initiatives for improvement.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.
