We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Logistics Specialists review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities.

If you would like to learn how to ensure overall availability and reliability of logistics to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations, we'd like to meet you. Key Job Responsibilities
  • Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e. forklift or cherry picker).
  • Work with the Logistics Manager to create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns.
  • Work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.
  • Work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.
  • Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator.
  • Support an environment that operates 24/7.
A Day in the Life
  • Position works in-person at a site location.
  • Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols for the site.
  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments.
  • Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
  • Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
  • Manual handling and lifting of objects may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
  • Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain or relevant studies.
  • Logistics experience with experience in shipping & receiving, inventory, material forecasting, and warehousing practices.
  • Proficient with Tableau and SQL.
  • Knowledge of IT Industry Logistics would be an advantage.
  • Experience using metrics to perform analyses.
