At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious contracting partner for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

Under the guidance of the Stock Coordinator, the stock / Storekeeper will have to manage inventory / stock handling, BC ERP, DO posting, and data entries.

Requirements

Main Accountabilities (This part should not be an exhaustive list of tasks)

Store Operations:

Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick and pack materials for production orders based on production requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production teams.
  • Ensure that materials are stored in an organized manner for easy access.
  • Co-ordinate with team for day-to-day activities.
  • Check that all item descriptions, quantities, and UOM are mentioned accurately in internal PR.

Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming raw materials and products.
  • Ensure materials are labeled, tagged, and stored according to warehouse guidelines.

Material Handling:

  • Transport materials and products to and from production areas.
  • Support loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Ensure that materials are available for production lines as required.

Stock Rotation:

  • Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure materials are used before expiry dates.
  • Regularly check for damaged or expired items and report them for disposal or return to suppliers.

Safety and Housekeeping:

  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring aisles and storage areas are clear and accessible.
  • Report any safety hazards or damaged equipment to the warehouse supervisor.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of stock movements, material usage, and deliveries.
  • Provide regular reports on stock levels and material requirements.
  • Follow the company's recycling process; proper disposal of office consumables to help the environment is a must.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with production, quality control, and other warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and stock planning based on production schedules.
  • Able to handle the store during the absence of the stock coordinator.
Knowledge & Experience

Number of years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience as Store Assistant with full store functions (stock knowledge).

Certification: ERP knowledge would be an advantage.

Education: Degree or equivalent.

Languages: English (Read, Write, and Speak).

Nationalities: Indian.

Systems: MS/Applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), Knowledge of ERP systems.

Other Skills And Competencies

Physically able to lift up to 25 KG weight.

  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with staff.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Must be able to work during weekends and late evenings.
General Obligations towards Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental
  • Correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, and all equipment issued by the company.
  • Correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company and ensure compliance throughout the department.
  • Not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.
  • Perform all tasks set forth by safety regulations and cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment that does not pose any risks in terms of health and safety.
  • Follow the company's recycling process, reduce and monitor resource consumption as a contribution to reducing environmental aspects and impacts.
