Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and interpret regulatory instruments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams regarding regulatory matters
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance programs and ensure adherence to legal standards
  • Train and educate staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and represent the organization in legal matters as needed
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to compliance and regulatory activities

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Law degree (JD or equivalent) with a specialization in regulatory law or compliance
  • Proven experience as a legal expert or regulatory compliance officer, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and legal standards relevant to the industry
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
