Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the FMCG industry to drive business growth in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships with Retail & HORECA businesses, and other Key Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Business Expansion: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the FMCG sector. Manage various aspects of the company's operations in KSA.
- Retail & HORECA Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional retailers and HORECA accounts to enhance brand visibility and increase sales.
- Market Research & Strategy: Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities, using insights to formulate innovative business strategies.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Negotiations & Contracts: Negotiate BDA's, contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements with key stakeholders to ensure mutually beneficial business arrangements.
- Networking & Relationship Management: Establish strong industry connections and attend relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate business leads and partnerships.
- Brand Development: Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand positioning, promotional activities, and customer engagement strategies.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and partnership agreements.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights for senior management.
Experience and Skills:
- 8-10+ years of experience in a similar Managerial role: Sales & Business Development, strategic partnerships within the FMCG industry in the Saudi Arabian market.
- English language spoken and written skills. (Arabic speaker Preferred)
- Proven track record of securing business deals and building partnerships with Retail (Grade A, B and C), HORECA and F&B brands.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia's FMCG market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and market research tools.
- Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia as required.
- Strong Leadership skills; ability to lead a team and achieve targets.
- Understand the full business processes and workflow in retail supermarkets, from operations, deliveries, merchandizing, marketing, promotions, etc...
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. (MBA is a plus).
