Job Description :

Required Technical Skill Set : Solution Architect

  • Must-Have :
  • Proven experience working as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in digital channel development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital channel technologies, platforms, and frameworks, including Mobile and web development, responsive design, APIs, microservices, and content management systems (CMS) and Alternative channels like Chatbot etc.
  • Proficiency in architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies, with experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure digital channel architectures.
  • Hands On Experience with Detailed Microservices Design with Java / .Net. Ability to in-depth analysis and Reverse Engineering of the existing .Net / Java Services Code
  • Understanding of Open API Standards, Retail Banking Features Domain Vocabulary. Experience with Designing Microservices for Banking Domain preferably retail banking.
  • Experience with End to End Project lifecycle for Mobile and Web Channels
  • Experience in leading the team to address any Performance, VAPT issues and any other Quality issues during the project life cycle
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with cloud-based digital channel solutions and deployment strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the digital space.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Google Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are desirable.
  • Ability to Play Integrator role between teams, a team player with strong interpersonal skills. Experience of strong listening and communication skills with Customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Good with Both backend and frontend estimation, code reviews. Understanding of detailed work packets involved in the development work and ability to drive the team to breakdown the activities to detail level for tracking by Project Manager
  • Understanding of Quality delivery along with DEVOPS and manual code reviews
  • Self-Driven and having leadership skill with alignment to the Team and Organization objectives
  • Hands on experience with Design and development tools needed to fulfil the role objectives
  • Experience with building Projection Ready and highly Stable Systems, leading Go-Live Strategies , Go-Live Deployments Activities across integrated systems

Good-to-Have :

  • Experience with frontend technologies and any of frameworks, such as React, Vue.js, iOS, and Android
  • Experience to drive and deliver Mobile Channel Modernization
  • Experience with Omni Channel Solution Designs
  • Experience with Analytics and Insights for Digital Channels

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

  • Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of digital channel solutions, including web and mobile applications, chatbots, social media integrations, and other digital touchpoints, to meet the bank's business objectives and customer needs.
  • Customer Experience: Champion the customer-centric design approach, ensuring that digital channel solutions deliver intuitive, seamless, and personalized experiences across all customer touchpoints.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and insights to inform the design and optimization of digital channel solutions, including user behavior analysis, A/B testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that digital channel solutions comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability enhancements, and cost optimization within digital channel architectures, ensuring fast response times and high availability.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and drive successful solution delivery.
  • Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, architectural diagrams, and design artifacts, and ensure adherence to architectural governance processes and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and innovation of digital channel solution delivery processes and methodologies.
