Job Description: Creative Strategist at MDLBEAST

MDLBEAST has an exciting opportunity for a Creative Strategist to join our Creative Compass team. As a Creative Strategist, you will play a key role in supporting creative campaigns and marketing initiatives for MDLBEAST Live Events. Your responsibilities will include researching the latest trends in music, design, creativity, and community to generate new concepts and drive creative campaigns for MDLBEAST sub-brands.

We are seeking a highly creative individual with a talent for managing the various components of campaigns and transforming challenges into compelling creative outputs. In addition to your creative skills, you should possess strong writing abilities to assist in developing proposals and ensuring that descriptions and captions align with our brand's tone of voice.

To excel in this role, you must be a skilled storyteller capable of devising innovative marketing concepts and strategies that align with our Live Events' objectives. Collaboration with management, in-house creative and marketing teams is essential to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork in a small-team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovative and targeted creative executions for brand campaigns
  • Support brand activation strategies within the broader MDLBEAST framework
  • Lead the briefing and management of agency partners' work
  • Deliver campaign creative to the media buying team and contribute to strategy development
  • Develop audience-facing content across various platforms, including web, email, videos, and more
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their creative requirements
Job Requirements for Creative Strategist Role at MDLBEAST

To be considered for the Creative Strategist role at MDLBEAST in the Creative department, you should meet the following criteria:

  • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience building brand campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Communications, Liberal Arts & Humanities or relevant field
  • Able to showcase creative work
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Passionate about music & plugged into the region's music culture and creative communities
  • Able to manage and lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Able to effectively communicate and present ideas – verbally & visually; a natural storyteller

You will be working closely with the following stakeholders:

  • Creative Compass Team (which you will be a part of)
  • Wider MDLBEAST Marketing, Media, Content
  • Agencies: Marketing, Branding, activations
