  • Understanding of technical and design leadership in all aspects of the design process including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards related to Civil / Planning Engineering.
  • Supporting the implementation of the interface management process.
  • Assisting the exchange of Interface Technical Queries involving the contractors as necessary, to identify the main criticalities and monitor their progress, as well as updating the Interface registers and attending all interface-related meetings.
  • Bringing team leadership skills and the ability to communicate directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team, and other KEO staff.
  • Understanding of local building codes in country, alongside International Building Codes, LEED requirements, and other similar sustainability standards.
  • Preparing and managing a project program, project plan, and schedule.
  • Identifying and assessing project risks and mitigating them.
  • Working alongside the team to prepare project procedural plans.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of design, construction techniques, procedures, codes, and standards.
  • Demonstrating experience and capability in all aspects of planning and scheduling within the construction and engineering environment.
  • Working in conjunction with the planning manager and project leader in the development of overall project procurement strategy, sequencing, phasing, and logistics.
  • Planning, cost, and schedule metrics and tools (work breakdown structure), collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract labor), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyzing and reporting (earned value, productivity, and risk analysis).
  • Developing the project master schedule, updating, monitoring, and reviewing contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs, and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.
  • Preparing, implementing, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs appropriate to the stage of project development.
  • Implementing 'Work Order' procedures in conjunction with QA/QC staff.
  • Identifying and tracking actual and potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management.
  • Reviewing and approving contractor's work programme submissions.
  • Maintaining and reporting on project metrics issued from and through consultants, contractors, and document control.
Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years' work experience partnered with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Experience in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Microsoft Project applications is essential. Candidates with experience gained within the consultancy sector on major scale mixed-use development projects will be of great interest.
