Master-Works is on the lookout for a talented Data Governance Consultant who is passionate about optimizing data management practices. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to assess their data governance needs, design effective strategies, and implement policies that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess current data governance frameworks in place and identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement customized data governance strategies that align with client objectives and industry regulations
  • Create comprehensive documentation of data governance processes, standards, and policies
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote data governance best practices among client teams
  • Monitor data management practices to ensure adherence to established governance standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or consulting roles
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data concepts to a diverse audience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are preferred
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies for data quality and compliance
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus
