Construction Manager

The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning and organizing all aspects of the task related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will oversee the works of his peers, acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members to ensure project cohesion.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Monitor resource allocation to ensure optimal use and avoid delays.
  • Ensure that construction work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with local and federal safety laws.
  • Track project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Identify potential delays and develop contingency plans.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, including clients and upper management.
  • Document project changes, challenges, and solutions.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Make decisions quickly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase.
  • Manage client expectations and provide updates on project status.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10 years work experience
  • Working knowledge of project management and processes
  • Experience in building (high rise, low rise) projects
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) may be beneficial.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in project management software.
