Monitor and evaluate AGC performance and Member States’ response following system disturbances
Analyse HVDC operation, including DRPS and Frequency Control, and identify any malfunctions
Monitor system inertia and overall system performance
Review and validate ancillary services status
Verify the performance of protection and control schemes (RAS, RVCS, UFLS)
Conduct post-event analysis following system disturbances and tripping events
Investigate the operation of protection systems and identify root causes
Ensure accurate recording of outage events, including detailed timelines, and proper documentation
Follow up on recommendations from operational and technical studies
Perform gap analysis of SOPs and ensure implementation of audit recommendations
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety policies.
Review the black start restoration plans.
Audit the drills that have been conducted.
Evaluate the drills and lesson learnt.
Audit the switching sequences after completion from ICC.
Ensure all switching steps are reviewed and approved by at least two ICEs
Ensure all changes are formally documented (no informal or handwritten updates)
Review outage records and ensure proper archiving
Support and review operational audits related to ICC activities, systems, and operations
Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Coordinate with Asset Management on pending or overdue operational actions (e.g., LOAs).
