Job Summary:

The chief financial officer is responsible for strategic planning and executive management of all company financial activities. He is also responsible for effectively managing operations and cash flows, achieving the company's economic efficiency, and managing risk. His role includes overseeing the preparation of budgets and reports, negotiations, investor relations, and partnership commitments.

Responsibilities

1-Strategic responsibilities:

• Develop short and long-term strategic investment plans to achieve the company's growth goals. Based on financial analysis and data related to past and expected financial performance
• Provide advice on plans and directions for growth and expansion
• Studying market trends, analysing competitors and local and international investment practices, and providing recommendations on new investment opportunities and directions that correspond to the vision, goals and activity of the company
• Support senior management in making investment decisions by studying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, analysing the expected risks and their compatibility with the company's goals
• Managing investment risks by continuously evaluating the performance of existing investments and predicting potential risks that could affect the financial and investment performance of the company, and working to find strategic solutions to meet potential financial risks or mitigate their impact
• Cooperating with the members of the executive team, supporting and empowering them and providing solutions that suit their needs
• Managing relationships with investors, financial institutions, auditors and other business partners

2-Executive responsibilities

• Preparing and developing a comprehensive and effective financial system for the company that ensures the smooth running of daily accounting and financial operations
• Setting the regulations of the organisational policies of the company's internal financial procedures and continuous improvement to suit the business needs to control internal transactions
• Management of cash flows, working capital and operating expenses
• Continuous evaluation of financial performance and work to improve financial efficiency
• Supervising preparing periodic financial reports that reflect the company's financial and investment situation. Submit reports, financial statements and recommendations based on them
• Preparing Consolidated accounts, budgets, financial plans and financial performance reports
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws related to financial and investment activities
• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations for financial reports, Zakat and taxes
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards

3-Administrative responsibilities

• Managing the project finance team, Financial and Accounting Management and continuous evaluation of their performance
• Provide constant support and guidance to the team and ensure their professional development.
• Supervising all financial and accounting activities and operations, and verifying the quality of outputs

Skill

• Knowledge of financial, accounting and credit systems and their risk
• Structuring and preparing budgets and financial policies
• Providing financial advice and investment guidance
• Preparation of financial reports, data, analysis and forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in financial management or equivalent
• Master of Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
• Qualified CPA, CFA or equivalent
• Experience of at least 15 years in the field of financial management
