Job Description - Education: Consultant Adult LIVER Transplant Doctor

  • MS in General Surgery and a fellowship in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant Surgery. Qualifications MS (General Surgery), Fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery, DNB/M.ch (Surgical Gastroenterology) with Hepato Experience, and M.ch - Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Consultant Adult LIVER Transplant Doctor

A Liver Transplant Consultant with this Ministry Hospital in Jeddah-Saudi Arabia provides patient care and management for liver transplant patients. They also participate in research, education, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities of Liver Transplant Consultant Doctor include the following:

  • Provide consultations and treatment for patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Manage patients and ensure their preparation for procedures
  • Perform procedures and surgeries as authorized
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Ensure that medical records are accurate and complete
  • Participate in departmental activities and committees
  • Provide orientation and training to residents and interns
  • Maintain professional knowledge and complete continuing education requirements
  • Participate in research activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
