Information Technology Manager

As an Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the IT department in our company. This includes developing and implementing IT strategies, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring data security and backup procedures are in place. You will also be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, providing technical support to employees, and staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support company objectives
- Manage and maintain all hardware and software systems
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Oversee a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network issues
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the industry
- Identify areas for improvement in IT processes and make recommendations for enhancements
- Monitor system performance to ensure efficient operations
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions
- Manage vendor relationships for IT-related products or services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology or related field
- Previous experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, network systems, security protocols, and data management best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Proven track record of successfully implementing IT strategies that align with business goals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a similar role within a contract job setting
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
