Job Description

The Senior Registrar role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and management, along with responsibilities in treatment planning and implementation for dental patients. The Senior Registrar will work under the supervision of consultant, collaborate with healthcare teams, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction

Assessment and Diagnosis

  • Conduct thorough assessments and accurate diagnoses of dental conditions.
  • Perform detailed patient history assessments and clinical examinations.
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests to identify oral conditions.
  • Analyze findings to develop a comprehensive understanding of patients' dental health.
  • Regular dental checks for patients and screening for dental issues

Management and Treatment Planning and Implementation
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with patients to discuss treatment options, preferences, and expected outcomes.
  • Design treatment strategies that may include restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Perform all dental needed and indicated procedures according to privilges

Clinical Quality and Safe Practice
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical care.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices in cardiology.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits.
  • Report and investigate clinical incidents or adverse events

Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
  • Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals regarding patient management.
  • Coordinate referrals and care transitions with external specialists and services

Patient Safety and Satisfaction
  • Promote patient safety and enhance patient satisfaction throughout the care process.
  • Implement and monitor patient safety protocols and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze patient feedback through surveys and direct communication.

Professional Development and Compliance

  • Arabic and English Language Proficiency
  • Dental degree (DDS or DMD) and completion of a recognized postgraduate training program in Dentistry.
  • Board certification in Dentistry or a relevant specialty.
  • Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) classification and registration as Senior Registrar– Dentistry
  • Proficiency in telehealth technologies and platforms.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with dental assessment tools and procedures
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine platforms
