Position: Registered Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients, aligning with organizational policies and professional standards.
  2. Identify patient care needs by establishing rapport with patients and their families.
  3. Ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and adjusting care plans as needed.
  4. Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
  5. Maintain accurate reports and records of patient information and health assessments.
  6. Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
  7. Administer medications and IV fluids per hospital policy.
  8. Oversee all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
  9. Assist with examinations and treatments, preparing patients accordingly.
  10. Deliver evidence-based nursing care aimed at achieving health outcomes.
  11. Respect patients' rights, advocate for them, and maintain cultural sensitivity.
  12. Prepare and maintain clinical environments and supplies.
  13. Apply specialized knowledge to assess data, plan, and evaluate care, especially for pediatric patients.
  14. Adjust treatment plans based on patient responses.
  15. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  16. Collaborate in planning and evaluating care with the multidisciplinary team.
  17. Promote patient independence through education and care planning.
  18. Coordinate with healthcare team members on patient care plans.
  19. Maintain communication and rapport among healthcare teams.
  20. Manage discharge procedures in collaboration with the case manager.
  21. Support training and mentorship for students and less experienced staff.
  22. Supervise less-skilled personnel, ensuring quality care.
  23. Build partnerships with patients and families for shared care goals.
  24. Foster healing and health through effective communication.
  25. Participate in research and stay informed on evidence-based practices.
  26. Identify research opportunities and contribute to nursing research and practice improvement.
  27. Understand research processes and advocate for patient safety during research activities.
  28. Enhance research skills and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  29. Follow quality improvement and infection control protocols to ensure safety.
  30. Adhere to safety policies and manage risks proactively.
  31. Engage in health education and disease prevention initiatives.
  32. Maintain standards of care and contribute to quality monitoring.
  33. Stay informed on professional and quality issues relevant to nursing practice.
