To lead AI projects and initiatives, introduce new technologies and methodologies, and drive innovation within the AI domain at the company. The Senior AI Specialist will focus on expanding the company's intellectual property (IP) portfolio, leading research activities, and contributing to the development of new AI-driven products and solutions. To guide and mentor team members, ensuring that all AI development aligns with strategic objectives and industry best practices.

JOB TECHNICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Keep abreast of latest technologies in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to implement on the company's products and solutions.
  • Research needed AI models to enhance existing systems or support new systems.
  • Review the AI Models developed by AI Developers and help them in development of Mentor the AI Developers in optimizing the output of various AI Models.
  • Propose and implement creative, efficient solutions for vision and control problems, and contribute to expanding our intellectual property portfolio.
  • Lead the design and development of advanced algorithms and modeling techniques to push the boundaries of AI technologies within the company.
  • Guide the training and evaluation of AI models, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy, performance, and scalability.
  • Oversee technical performance benchmarking and analyses to support and inform engineering decisions, ensuring that systems meet required standards and perform optimally.
  • Oversee the deployment of AI models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and optimizing for long-term performance.
  • Actively monitor the performance of deployed AI models, leading efforts to optimize, retrain, or fine-tune models based on performance data and feedback.
  • Formulate and implement intellectual model designs based on deep data insights, predictions, and training results, contributing to the expansion of the company's IP assets.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate innovative solutions into The company's products and solutions.
  • Support product managers and relevant stakeholders in understanding potential limitations and capabilities of AI during the planning and development phases.
  • Lead the development of cutting-edge computer vision algorithms, focusing on applications such as Object Detection, Segmentation, and Classification.
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of computer vision models into the company's existing and new applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and accuracy.
  • Guide the team in the preprocessing of image and video data, including advanced techniques such as annotation, data augmentation, and 3D image analysis.
  • Drive continuous innovation in computer vision technologies, ensuring the company's solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead the development and optimization of NLP models, focusing on advancing language understanding, text processing, and AI-driven communication solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of NLP models into the company's products, ensuring they are aligned with strategic goals and deliver high performance and accuracy.
  • Stay informed about the latest NLP advancements and guide the team in adopting and implementing new techniques to enhance the company's AI capabilities.
  • Lead data science initiatives that support AI development, ensuring the effective collection, cleaning, and analysis of large-scale datasets.
  • Guide the development and implementation of predictive models and data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and contribute to the success of AI projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data science solutions are effectively integrated into AI models and align with broader organizational goals.
  • Lead research activities in AI, contributing to the publication of research papers, whitepapers, and other scientific literature that establishes the company as a thought leader in AI.
  • Propose and implement creative, innovative AI use cases that expand the company's product portfolio and contribute to the company's intellectual property (IP) assets.
  • Engage in continuous learning, staying at the forefront of AI advancements, and sharing knowledge with the team to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Lead and mentor AI Specialists and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align AI projects with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring all initiatives contribute to the company's long-term success.
  • Introduce and implement new AI technologies and methodologies, ensuring the company remains competitive and at the cutting edge of AI innovation.
  • Expand The company's intellectual property (IP) profile by leading the development of innovative AI-driven solutions and securing patents, trademarks, and other forms of IP.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence (Machine learning/Deep learning and Image recognition - desirable with Traffic violations)
  • Programming experience in R, Python, C, C++ and core Java
  • Preparing AI Model in TensorFlow with Dockers and Kubernetes Serving
  • Experience in Dockers and Kubernetes Serving
  • Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is preferred
  • Experience in Big data technologies is preferred
  • Experience in developing solutions using AI for Smart City is preferred

Knowledge

  • Strong Knowledge in state-of-the-art algos in Computer Vision - Object Classification, Object Detection, Object Tracking, Segmentation, OCR, Medical Computer Vision – X-ray, MRI image Detection, Face Applications
  • Strong Math and Stat skills who can understand the white papers and literature and convert the ideas into implementation
  • Possess knowledge around Data Science & Analytics covering Descriptive & Inferential Statistics, Data Classification & M/C Learning, Recommender Engines, Text Mining, Time Series Modeling, and Deep Learning & Cognitive Services.
  • Exposure to NVIDIA NGC/DeepStream technology
  • Knowledge of various methods of Securing AI Model for Deployment
  • Abreast with latest AI/ML Technologies & Framework

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Equivalent, Engineering Disciplines (6 - 8 years of relevant experience)
  • Master's in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Equivalent, Engineering Disciplines preferred (2- 4 years of relevant experience)
  • PhD degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Equivalent, Engineering Disciplines preferred (0- 2 years of relevant experience)
