ResponsibilitiesJOB PURPOSE

Operating waste water treatment plant and maintaining the plant in good condition.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION

Direct Manager: Maintenance supervisor
Peers: Maintenance technician
Sub-ordinates: Level L2
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(Provide 4-8 examples of key accountabilities)
- The overall responsible for water treatment plant operation.
- Executing the maintenance schedules to maintain the plant equipment within given engineering standards.
- Maintain and implement food safety and industrial safety guidance.
- Analysing waste water parameters and maintain within given spec.
- Daily contact with Direct Manager/peers.
- Decision making on utilisation of spare parts.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
(Minimum knowledge, skills, experience and competencies required)
The person should be a self-starter with innovative technical skills.
- ITI/Diploma with 2 years to 5 years industrial experience.
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software.
- Technical abilities to resolve complex engineering plant breakdowns.
- Functional excellence.
