Head waiter

Our client in KSA is seeking a Head Waiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of waiters/waitresses, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction are met, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Benchmarks and Standards:

• Candidate needs to be presentable (not overweight, no teeth issues, etc.) with excellent English communication skills.
• Our benchmarks are high-end 5-star hotels and high-end fine dining restaurants for all positions mentioned above.

In addition, for the Head Host position, we can also source from high-end fashion retail shops (Dior, Cartier, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Train new and existing waitstaff on hospitality service etiquette and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily schedules and workload effectively.
• Ensure that food orders are properly taken, sent to the kitchen, prepared, and served within hospital food safety guidelines.
• Monitor the dining environment, ensuring cleanliness and comfort, and handle customer complaints and concerns diplomatically.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and food, ensuring waste is minimized and promptly reported.
• Assist in the selection and hiring process of new staff, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Ensure all waitstaff comply with hospital food handling and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility will be considered a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
