ELV Sales Manager

To lead a team of sales support and internal account managers for the audio visual and video business.

Main Duties of the Job:
  1. Lead a team of audio visual internal account managers.
  2. Support the sales and technical teams.
  3. Work with management on future progression and strategy of the AV business.
  4. Manage given set of accounts, specific product category or Sales Specialist.
  5. Provision of pricing and accurate formal quotations within the agreed customer and Departmental SLA's.
  6. Provide interface to customer contacts, branch sales teams and Enterprise sales teams.
  7. Assist in the generating of sales via support to the sales teams and participating in Sales Support Incentives.
  8. Preparation of Sales quotation with accurate and complete documents including, but not limited to pricing, supplier pricing and customer order for handover to Administration for processing.
  9. Liaison with internal departments to facilitate the progress of orders through the SCC ordering to install process.
  10. Management and implementation of Customer specific special bids.
  11. Management of support and maintenance contract renewals.
  12. Engineer Scheduling.
Sales and General Sales Support:
  1. Maintaining a high level of knowledge around the products and services offered by SCC.
  2. Undergo appropriate training to maintain the high level of knowledge.
  3. Resolve or escalate all issues in a timely manner.
  4. Manage a training matrix and development plan for your team.
  5. Provide reporting data as required.
  6. Accurate and effective use of internal Information Technology systems.
  7. To achieve and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction through professional engagement at all times and at all levels within the customer and internal departments.
  8. You will have typically operated inside an end user, reseller, distributor or inside a large vendor, Audio Visual Reseller.
  9. You will have good attention to detail, strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  10. You should have the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through to full completion.
  11. You will also have good organisational abilities.
  12. You should be I.T. literate, especially in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  13. Good interpersonal and telephone skills will be a pre-requisite.
