Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for TPE IV Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) for Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
  1. To prepare Mechanical deliverables for a project FEED in the oil and gas industry and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures.
  2. To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
  3. To provide direction and guidance on all mechanical engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
  4. Experience in preparation of datasheet for static, rotating and package equipment.
  5. Experience in preparation of Material Requisition static, rotating and package equipment.
  6. Capable to understanding to read Process and Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
  7. Able to work with other discipline on requesting input and providing input.
  8. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  9. Ability to interface with equipment suppliers or vendors such as request for information, budgetary proposal, and basic technical evaluation.
  10. To always promote safe behavior.
  11. To provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
  12. To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
  13. To assist in the coordination of all activities related to mechanical engineering design.
  14. To identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
  3. Aramco experience is preferred.
  4. Detailed knowledge of the major mechanical Static equipment types.
  5. Thorough knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
